I wonder what Cable would think about the paradox of his life(or lives). Does he ask himself if he is really changing anything? Standard disclaimers.
False Sorrows
by Riana
tired, but I can't sleep
my dreams
haunted by a past that never was,
memories of things, places, people that
never were
or might never be.
the sorrows of my soul
hidden in the
dark, but always there
a stir of echoes from the might-have-beens
that
follow me across the distance,
the ones no one can understand
no
matter how hard they try;
the sorrows are mine, by choices I made
and
the failures because of them
blood-stained on my soul,
sorrows that
never were
and memories that cannot be,
only dreams and sleepness
nights
until the morning
when I undo what I have done
or will do.
